Asi tyzden po kupe iPAQ 3970 som zistil, ze skoro v strede obrazovky mam vadny bod. Cez biely a cierny bmp 240x320 bodov som zistil ze je este jeden taky bod na liste. V servise Compaq mi ho bez problemov zobrali na opravu a o tri dni som dostal masinku s novym LCD. Zial vstupom HP sa menia pravidla aj pre Compaq zarucny servis. Jednoducho HP zacal so zakaznikom hru, s tym ze Cierny Peter je a zostavu u zakaznika. Prilozil som oficialny dokument.

HP attempts to utilize the latest technology in our products to ensure a satisfying experience for our customers. With the introduction of transflective LCD panels, HP iPAQ Pocket PC's may be perceived as having irregularities in the LCD panel. Since transflective LCD panels have much brighter screens than previous LCD's, HP engineering specifications are enhanced to control the quality of the iPAQ Pocket PC.
On occasion, a small percentage of iPAQ Pocket PC LCD panels may exhibit cosmetic variances that appear as bright/dark dots. Due to the increased technology of the transflective LCD panel, it should not be perceived that these dots are representative of a faulty LCD panel. iPAQ Pocket PC?s ship within HP engineering specifications, which does allow for some anomalies. Warranty replacement coverage will depend upon the size and number of dots exhibited on the LCD panel.
DETAILS
HP engineering specifications allow for a certain amount of bright/dark dots on the LCD panel. Because of this, iPAQ Pocket PC's exhibiting bright/dark dots on the LCD panel should be evaluated by HP prior to being submitted for warranty repair. The service personnel will determine whether the size/number of dots exceed the acceptable limits for LCD panels.
