Ahoj,
rád bych jako dříve s Artemisem používal externí klávesnici Stowaway bluetooth keyboard s českým rozložením znaků. S AEKmap jsem to používal dříve na Artemisu k velké spokojenosti.
Na Asusu P750 mi to ovšem přemapovává jen 0..9 klávesy a jiné, jako např. "A" mi dodávají jen původní znaky.
Pro zájemce uvádím níže komunikaci s autorem AEKMAP programu, který asi odhalil příčinu, ale nenabízí řešení.
Pokud byste měli nějaký nápad, jak s tímto postupovat dále, budu vděčný.

for your question: it looks like keyboard driver you use for new device
is implemented
by "simple" model. The full keyboard driver gives
applications 2 chance to detect
and process keypresses. First it sends
"hardware key was pressed" and "hardware
key was released" events to the
system. Once these events were not processed by
OS or any application like
AEKMap they are returned back to keyboard driver itself.
After additional
processing driver notifies system that "specific character was
entered by
user". And your current driver just not notifies system about hardware
button
pressings but sends character notifications only.
So using old or alternative
(if any) driver for you is the only workaround.

first of all thank you for you suberb tools. I am registered user of AEButton and AEKmap.
I used successfully Stowaway Bluetooth Thinkoutside keyboard with own Czech
layout and AEKMap but now after change to ASUS P750 it seems that only the
keys 0..9 and some others (e.g. mainly the same keys as are on ASUS P750)
can be remapped with AEKMap and not other keys on the Stowaway keyobard.
These other keys seem to deliver only default characters only when typing
and additionally only 0..9 and characters like SHIFT etc. seems to respond
to AEKMapScan.exe. Pressing e.g. "A" does not deliver any response to
AEKMapScan.exe.
I use origninal WM 6.0 ROM (because of WM 6.1 "86000107 issue" when syncing
with two computers).
Could you please comment this?
